“It is, in fact, nothing short of a miracle that the modern methods of instruction have not yet entirely strangled the holy curiosity of inquiry; for this delicate little plant, aside from stimulation, stands mainly in need of freedom. Without this it goes to wrack and ruin without fail.”
― Albert Einstein

"The people who move through the streets are all strangers. At each encounter, they imagine a thousand things about one another; meetings which could take place between them, conversations, surprises, caresses, bites. But no one greets anyone; eyes lock for a second, then dart away, seeking other eyes, never stopping." - Italo Calvino

Star-like, as distant, as true.

❝ You are like night, calmed, constellated.
Your silence is star-like, as distant, as true.
— Pablo Neruda - XV

So, there is this Italian web page where you can find out how harmful a product is, and I thought I sould share it with you! http://www.biodizionario.it/
You would be surprised with your findings(or not) ! I selected a shampoo of mine and tested its ingredients. What I found out is that most of them used ( even in a well known brand) are unacceptable for the skin( potentially carcinogenic) and of cource now I'm in search of natural products that are not just ''baptized" as such .
The circles (colored green, red, yellow) that appear after you write the ingredient tell you if that is beneficial for the skin (green circle ) and how much ( 2 green circles means really good, one means acceptable) . The red circle unacceptable, and the yellow means that the ingredient may cause problems to some, such as allergies.
And that's it! : )

"Can you imagine?
For example, what the trees do
not only in lightening storms
or the watery dark of a summer’s night
or under the white nets of winter
but now, and now, and now - whenever
we’re not looking. Surely you can’t imagine
they don’t dance, from the root up, wishing
to travel a little, not cramped so much as wanting
a better view, or more sun, or just as avidly
more shade - surely you can’t imagine they just
stand there loving every
minute of it, the birds or the emptiness, the dark rings
of the years slowly and without a sound
thickening, and nothing different unless the wind,
and then only in its own mood, comes
to visit, surely you can’t imagine
patience, and happiness, like that."

“I feel that art has something to do with the achievement of stillness in the midst of chaos. A stillness which characterizes prayer, too, and the eye of the storm. I think that art has something to do with an arrest of attention in the midst of distraction.”
― Saul Bellow

“The lifetime of a human being is measured by decades, the lifetime of the Sun is a hundred million times longer. Compared to a star, we are like mayflies, fleeting ephemeral creatures who live out their lives in the course of a single day.”
